There is nothing worse than getting your Sunday finery covered in sawdust. Lumberjacks with aprons alleviate this problem when actively engaged in their chosen profession. Soup is still a problem though. Clarence tried to create a sawdust gumbo but found the extra fiber to be life threatening.
